What began as a feasibility study, the Windsor Village Park Community Center evolved into a centerpiece of revitalization for an economically depressed area of Indianapolis. The community center - which will provide a safe haven for the youth of the surrounding neighborhood - was an inspired, collaborative creation from the neighborhood groups, Indy Parks Foundation and the City of Indianapolis.

Construction is nearly complete on the facility that will house a gymnasium, game room, fitness room, community meeting rooms, and the community family room - providing space for neighbors to meet, interact, and socialize. The surrounding park will include a fitness trail, playgrounds, open lawn play areas, and a sprayground. Many of the mature trees and wooded fence lines on the property have been preserved - benefitting wildlife and the environment while maintaining a seldom found green corner of the community.
