Lucas Oil Stadium Suites Interiors Renovation
Built for Game Day and Everything Around It
Where Game Day Becomes Connection
At Lucas Oil Stadium, suites have always been about more than watching the game. They are spaces for hosting, relationship-building, and shared experiences, all rooted in the identity of the Indianapolis Colts.
Shifting Expectations, Static Spaces
Over time, how people use these suites has evolved. What was once centered around seated viewing now leans toward movement, conversation, and flexibility. The existing environment no longer fully supported how guests naturally gather, creating a disconnect between the space and the experience it was meant to deliver.
Designing for How People Actually Gather
The renovation focused on aligning the space with current behavior while preserving the Colts identity. A refined palette of whites, grays, browns, and tans, paired with woven textures, updates the environment while complementing existing woodwork and signature blue accents. Furniture strategy became the key move, replacing traditional lounge seating with high-top harvest tables and barstools to encourage movement and interaction while maintaining clear sightlines. In the Quarterback Suite, a mix of taller furnishings at the back and lower seating at the front creates a natural gradient of activity, supported by flexible layouts and durable materials like quartz and metal.
A More Social, More Versatile Suite Experience
The suites now function as dynamic environments that support both game day and a wide range of events, from concerts to corporate gatherings. By prioritizing flexibility, movement, and connection, the design transforms the suite into a more engaging and adaptable space, one that feels natural to how people gather today while remaining unmistakably part of the Colts experience.
