In January 2021, Synthesis Incorporated, V3 Companies, and Accompany LLC formed a design team to collaborate with the City of Lawrence and the Lawrence Redevelopment Commission on a strategic Master Development Plan for a Cluster District centered around architecture, engineering, and construction. The team conducted comprehensive stakeholder interviews and analysis to formulate a district masterplan, prioritizing connectivity, safety, and growth. The site's strategic location with convenient access to the city and state through Interstate 465, coupled with the existing construction trades entities, creates a hub for industry synergy. The resulting plan focuses on targeted infrastructure investment and development projects, aiming to stimulate growth within the Trades District and set a precedent for future development in adjacent areas of the city.
