Over the course of a decade, the NW Quad code study evolved from an initial comprehensive assessment of 16 buildings. We meticulously surveyed and generated updated base drawings to capture current conditions, formulating a strategic plan to preserve interconnectedness while adhering to code requirements for each building. Despite the ultimate separation of one building, the rest underwent alterations or additions to align with an exit strategy negotiated with the state, a process facilitated through substantial variances with the commission.

The subsequent decade was dedicated to steering and executing the project, ensuring that the NW Quad aligned seamlessly with the negotiated program approved by the state.
