Synthesis renovated the Maryland Landings Food Court at the Indiana Convention Center, transforming the traditional food service experience into a modern, efficient destination. The project replaced a portion of the existing food bays with a grab-and-go market and self-checkout technology, streamlining queues and reducing staffing needs to better serve busy convention attendees.
Large-scale LED screens, the first of their kind in the convention center, introduced flexible branding opportunities for event sponsors. Additional terrazzo flooring was installed to handle high traffic, while new “On-the-Go” self-serve kiosks were added near exhibit halls and meeting rooms for convenient access to food and beverage options.
By combining upgraded infrastructure, durable finishes, and health-focused vending concepts, the renovation delivers a quick, seamless experience that aligns with the fast-paced schedules of convention visitors.
